Salesforce Marketing Cloud Specialist

Rate: ($40/hr - $44/hr Incorporated)
Location: 1500 Don Mills Road, Toronto, ON

Overview

Our client is seeking a Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) Specialist to support and enhance their growing digital marketing ecosystem. This role will be responsible for managing the full lifecycle of email and SMS marketing campaigns while maintaining existing marketing automation processes and identifying opportunities for future improvements and implementations.

The ideal candidate will have strong hands on experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud, a solid understanding of Salesforce data architecture, and the ability to build responsive communications that perform effectively across multiple devices and platforms.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create, execute, and maintain Salesforce Marketing Cloud campaigns.
  • Build and deploy email and SMS marketing campaigns using SFMC.
  • Manage audience segmentation and targeting strategies.
  • Develop and maintain responsive email templates using HTML and CSS.
  • Leverage Salesforce data structures, objects, and audience data to support campaign execution.
  • Utilize Audience Builder, Email Studio, Mobile Studio, and Analytics Builder to support marketing initiatives.
  • Design, build, and optimize customer journeys within Journey Builder.
  • Monitor campaign performance and recommend process improvements and optimizations.
  • Support future enhancements and implementations within the digital marketing environment.
Required Skills & Experience
  • Hands on experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce platform fundamentals, including:
    • Salesforce Objects
    • Audience Segmentation
    • SOQL
    • Data Extensions
  • Experience with:
    • Email Studio
    • Audience Builder
    • Mobile Studio
    • Analytics Builder
    • Journey Builder
  • Strong knowledge of Journey Builder functionality, including:
    • Process Automation
    • A/B Testing
    • Dynamic Content and Assets
    • Decision Splits
    • Engagement Splits
  • Experience with AMPScript.
  • Proficiency in HTML and CSS for responsive email development.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and optimize campaign performance.
Nice to Have
  • Experience with Einstein Analytics and Einstein capabilities within Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
  • Salesforce Marketing Cloud Specialist Certification.
  • Experience working in complex enterprise marketing environments.
What You'll Be Doing

This role will support an evolving digital marketing environment that has recently undergone significant enhancements and expansion. You will be responsible for maintaining current campaign operations while helping drive future improvements, automation initiatives, and platform enhancements.
