As part of Scotiabank’s Unix Infrastructure team, you will leverage over a decade of experience addressing technical challenges on Red Hat Linux and Solaris servers. Your responsibilities encompass systems support, incident management, and ensuring seamless disaster recovery operations. Your proactive problem-solving skills will be key to maintaining high operational standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Offer systems support for production/non-production servers
• Engage in change and incident management for Unix systems
• Execute automation tasks and monitoring using Ansible
• Contribute to disaster recovery planning and execution
• Support the development of policies for Unix operations
Requirements:
• 10+ years in systems administration of Linux/Solaris
• Deep understanding of Oracle Sparc hardware
• Experience with Veritas Storage Foundation technologies
• Proficient in scripting with Ansible and shell
• Strong analytical and communication skills
