Role OverviewWe are seeking a Salesforce Developer to join our SaaS IT Business Applications team. The successful candidate will build, maintain and improve our Salesforce Sales Cloud solutions as a technical subject matter expert.
Responsibilities- Design, develop, test, debug and implement Salesforce Sales Cloud and Sales Enablement business processes and systems integrations.
- Build and deploy SaaS systems integrations, workflows, and architecture to scale and automate an end‑to‑end Lead to Cash process.
- Partner with Revenue Operations to optimize Salesforce investments along with other Sales & Marketing enablement SaaS applications and best‑of‑breed technologies.
- Provide application support and technical administration of Sales & Marketing SaaS applications.
- Provide input into optimizing the system architecture landscape, identify gaps between current and desired end states, and deliver comprehensive solutions that will enable desired business outcomes.
- Configure, build and enhance out‑of‑the‑box Salesforce functionality such as objects, fields, formula fields, validation rules, workflows, Process Builder flows, page layouts, apps, report types, sharing rules, permission sets, profiles, roles, etc.
- Manage operational and reporting requests including customer analysis and individual views and troubleshoot issues.
- Implement and govern security related to profiles, permission sets, role‑based access, sharing settings and login access policies.
- Plan & deploy Salesforce releases and other SaaS application patches/updates in accordance with the Application Release Management cadence.
- Work with SaaS vendor support contacts to resolve technical problems with applications, servers, and infrastructure tools.
- Create technical documentation such as best practice guides, release notes and design documents.
- Configure, test, and optimize prompt templates, AI actions, and agent behaviors using CRM data, flows, Apex, and related Salesforce platform capabilities.
- Proactively monitor SaaS applications and seek to improve availability, quality and performance by ensuring Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and participating in required on‑call support.
- Support Data Cloud‑connected use cases to improve AI readiness and customer data quality.
- 3‑5 years of strong technical experience implementing and supporting Salesforce Sales Cloud.
- Solid understanding and hands‑on experience implementing and/or supporting other Sales enablement SaaS applications such as Salesloft, Gong, Guide
CX, DealHubCPQ, Zoom Info, etc. - Technical background and experience in application integration tools (e.g., Workato, Zapier, Dell Boomi, Mule Soft) and native APIs to enable workflows and data feeds between SaaS platforms.
- Expertise Level developing Lightning Components with CSS and Design Parameters.
- Experience programming in APEX, VF Page, LWC, Aura Component development, SSJS, SQL, HTML, AMPscript, SOQL/SOSL.
- Experience on Lightning Process Builder flows, workflow rules, Connect API and Quick Action.
- Proficiency in Salesforce platform features and CRM concepts.
- Knowledge of Dev Ops and continuous integration/deployment (CI/CD) processes.
- Motivated self‑starter & quick learner who can thrive in an accelerated environment and manage multiple, concurrent priorities.
- Analytical thinker and problem‑solver with excellent communication and troubleshooting skills.
- Experience in Agile or Scrum software development methodology.
- Salesforce certifications such as Platform Developer I or II, App Builder or Administrator are preferred.
Base salary range: $64,000 – $76,000 CAD (Ontario, Canada). In addition, candidates may be eligible for annual bonuses, commissions, equity awards, and a comprehensive benefits package.
