Senior Business Analyst, OPL

Job Summary

Senior Business Analyst – Trade Credit division. You will lead the transition to a new underwriting platform and serve as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and IT.

• Lead requirements gathering and functional specification documentation for migration of business units to the new underwriting platform.
• Track milestones, manage scope, and provide consistent visibility to the Trade Credit Operations Manager.
• Deliver status updates, risk assessments, QA testing, and progress reports on all active projects.
• Provide ongoing BA support for operational needs, process improvements and ad‑hoc initiatives.
• Facilitate stakeholder sessions to build consensus, manage priorities and remove roadblocks.
• Analyze complex data sources to provide actionable recommendations; create guides and visual documentation.
• Identify changes and provide QA during test planning and execution to ensure system integrity.

• 5‑7 years of relevant experience with proven experience in SaaS environments.
• Strong project management background; comfortable managing timelines, dependencies, and reporting structures.
• Knowledge of Trade Credit insurance, underwriting systems or broader insurance industry.
• Advanced analytical skills and ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
• Business or related bachelor’s degree.
• Bilingual in English and French; must interact in both languages.
• Proficiency in functional analysis, business process review, Excel, Power BI and project systems.
• Ability to adapt between high‑level strategy and day‑to‑day BA tasks, and communicate complex information effectively.
• Self‑starter with ability to drive projects forward with minimal supervision.

Competitive base salary range: 94,CAD based on a 35‑hour workweek. Annual bonus target of up to 12% of base, potentially up to double with performance.
