Oracle EBS Developer

This role is eligible for a hybrid work model (two days in-office). The Technology team builds travel technology and requires a developer to customize and support Oracle EBS financial modules.
Responsibilities- Develop, and maintain customizations for AP, AR, and GL modules.
- Modify Oracle Forms, Reports, PL/SQL procedures, and Oracle Application Framework (OAF) to support financial workflows.
- Build concurrent programs, PL/SQL scripts, and batch jobs to automate processes such as invoice processing, payments, journal imports, and reconciliations.
- Develop Oracle BI Publisher reports for financial reporting needs, including balance sheets, income statements, and aging reports.
- Manage and develop interfaces between finance modules and internal or third‑party systems, including bank integrations (e.g., ACH, wire transfers).
- Support data exchange with external systems, including invoicing, payment processing, and financial transactions.
- Assist with month‑end, quarter‑end, and year‑end closing processes to ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Reconcile AP, AR, and GL transactions during closing periods to maintain financial accuracy.
- Configure AP, AR, and GL modules based on business needs, including account setups, payment terms, tax codes, and bank configurations.
- Ensure seamless integration between subledger and General Ledger for accurate journal entries and financial reporting.
- Collaborate with functional consultants to align customizations with business processes.
- Optimize PL/SQL procedures, concurrent requests, and reports for improved performance.
- Troubleshoot and address performance issues related to invoice processing, payment runs, journal imports, and financial reporting.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Accounting, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 4+ years of hands‑on experience with Oracle EBS, focusing on AP, AR, and GL modules. Experience with Oracle EBS 12.2 is a plus.
- Proficiency in PL/SQL, SQL, Oracle Forms, Reports, and Oracle Application Framework (OAF).
- Experience with BI Publisher for custom financial reporting.
- Familiarity with month‑end, quarter‑end, and year‑end close processes in Oracle EBS.
- Experience integrating Oracle EBS financials with third‑party applications, including banking systems.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and their implementation in Oracle EBS.
- Hands‑on experience with Oracle Financials (AP, AR, GL), including subledger accounting, journal imports, and account reconciliation.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve performance issues in AP, AR, and GL modules.

Salary range: $100,000–120,000 CAD.
