Join a dynamic team as a Deployment Technician in Toronto, Ontario. This role focuses on upgrading systems from Windows XP to Windows 7, providing technical support, and managing hardware deployments.
We’re looking for six motivated Deployment Technicians for a 9-month contract project. This role involves intermediate IMAC activities, hardware roll-outs, and software installations. Successful candidates will have a strong background in deskside support and exceptional customer service skills to effectively troubleshoot and resolve issues.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform IMAC tasks including installations and changes
• Handle hardware deployment for PCs, laptops, and printers
• Support software installations and upgrades during projects
• Provide deskside support to troubleshoot hardware and software
• Assist with basic LAN and internetworking activities
Requirements:
• Minimum Diploma in IT from a recognized program
• A+ certification and vendor certifications preferred
• 1-2 years of field support experience
• Strong troubleshooting and networking skills
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
