SAP Finance Manager

About the Role:

Our client is a well-established investment management organization seeking an experienced SAP Finance Manager to support and enhance its finance systems environment. This role offers exposure to a collaborative, fast-paced environment with strong interaction across Finance and business teams.

• Act as a subject matter expert across SAP finance-related applications, including S/4
  
  HANA Cloud, SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), SAP Group Reporting, and Concur
• Support the ongoing configuration, enhancement, and maintenance of SAP finance systems to align with evolving business requirements
• Partner with Finance and other internal teams to implement scalable system solutions and improve operational efficiencies
• Troubleshoot system issues, identify root causes, and provide timely resolutions and recommendations
• Perform system reviews and controls testing to ensure data accuracy, compliance, and process integrity
• Gather requirements from business users and translate operational needs into functional SAP solutions
• Assist with financial reporting, consolidation processes, analytics, and management reporting initiatives
• Prepare materials and reporting for senior leadership to support business decision-making and process optimization
• Contribute to process improvement initiatives and support controllership-related activities as required
• Stay current on SAP technologies, enhancements, and industry best practices to recommend continuous improvements

• Minimum 5 years of experience working within SAP finance environments, with strong exposure to S/4
  
  HANA Cloud, SAP FICO, SAP Group Reporting, SAP Analytics Cloud, and Concur
• Experience supporting financial reporting, consolidations, and finance systems within a corporate environment
• Strong understanding of SAP configuration, integrations, implementations, and ongoing support functions
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Finance, or a related discipline
• SAP certifications are considered an asset
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving capabilities
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to work collaboratively across teams
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining strong attention to detail
