Job Title: Business Analyst - Intermediate

Location: Toronto, ON (Hybrid)

Duration: 6+ months (with possible extension)

Client: Public Sector

Pay Rate: $70/hr - $75/hr (CAD)

• 5-8+ years of experience in leading end-to-end requirements gathering and analysis, including documenting BRD, FRD, NFRs, user stories, and acceptance criteria across complex enterprise environments.
• Facilitate stakeholder workshops, interviews, and requirement sessions with cross-functional teams including business, IT, cybersecurity, and IAM stakeholders.
• Develop current state (AS-IS) and future state (TO-BE) process maps, workflows, and system interaction diagrams to support solution design and transformation initiatives.
• Translate business needs into clear, actionable requirements for technical teams, ensuring alignment with project objectives and enterprise standards.
• Work closely with UX/design teams to capture user needs and convert wireframes and concepts into detailed business requirements.
• Support Agile delivery by participating in sprint planning, backlog refinement, daily stand-ups, and ensuring stories are well-defined and prioritized.
• Collaborate with QA teams to validate requirements coverage, review test cases, and contribute to UAT planning and execution.
• Utilize tools such as Jira, Azure Dev Ops, Confluence, and Visio for requirements management, tracking, and process modelling.
• Analyze digital identity and authentication workflows (SSO, MFA, IAM) and perform gap analysis to recommend optimized future-state solutions.
• Maintain project artifacts including RTM, RAID logs, and status reports, ensuring clear communication with stakeholders and leadership.
