Job Title

Sr Technical Delivery Program Manager (AML & Financial Crime)

Location & Contract

Toronto, ON – Hybrid (4 Days WFO)

Contract Length: 6‑12 months

Core Responsibilities
  • Drive the technical delivery of the AML/Financial Crime technology roadmap, ensuring milestones are met across systems.
  • Act as the primary technical point of contact between Financial Compliance, Legal, and Engineering teams.
  • Manage the technical roadmap and transition legacy AML systems to modern or AI‑enhanced architectures (e.g., entity resolution, real‑time transaction monitoring).
  • Ensure all technical deliveries meet global regulator standards and manage risk dependencies.
  • Proactively identify technical blockers in the pipeline or validation processes and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Manage relationships with specialized Fin Crime third‑party products and oversee their technical integration.
Technical Domain Qualifications
  • Deep knowledge of the AML life‑cycle: customer due diligence (CDD), enhanced due diligence (EDD), and suspicious activity reporting (SAR). Experience with sanctions/PEP screening, list management (OFAC, UN, EU), and financial crime typologies (structuring, trade‑based money laundering, crypto‑asset risk).
  • Proficiencies in big‑data cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and data tools (Snowflake, Databricks, Hadoop). Familiarity with AI/ML model deployment for fraud detection and model risk management (MRM). Strong data governance, lineage, and quality principles for regulatory audits.
Required Skills / Experience
  • 10+ years in technical program management, with at least 5 years in Financial Crime Compliance or Risk Technology.
  • Mastery of Agile, Scrum, and Scaled Agile Frameworks (SAFe) in a regulated environment.
  • Strategic leadership: proven ability to manage large cross‑functional, multi‑geo teams.
Preferred Certifications

PMP, CAMS, CSM.
