Responsibilities- Develop, maintain, and execute Business Continuity Management (BCM) plans
, including contingency strategies and controls. - Prepare business lines for disruptions through Incident Management communication and reporting
. - Support Business Continuity and Recovery Strategy across assigned business areas.
- Conduct Business Impact Assessments (BIA) to evaluate operational and financial impacts of process failures.
- Monitor environmental and business risks impacting BCM readiness
. - Plan and execute BCM exercises and recovery testing (work-area recovery, contact testing, simulations).
- Advise stakeholders on risk identification, risk tolerance, and recovery strategy selection
. - Identify gaps in application recovery capabilities
, partnering with Business and IT for resolution. - Ensure all Business Continuity Plans align with Enterprise BCM standards and governance.
- Analyze and report Key Risk Indicators (KRIs) and drive remediation of deficiencies.
- Coordinate with Enterprise BCM, Regional teams, and Business Line Executives during incidents.
- Track and close audit issues and regulatory findings related to BCM.
- Act as Secretary to the Regional Incident Management Team and liaise with Crisis Management teams.
- Support business change initiatives
, including BIAs, BCP updates, and recovery testing.
- 1–3 years of Business Continuity Risk Management experience within a financial services environment
. - Experience in risk and control assessments, process reviews, and control testing/monitoring
. - Exposure to Operational Risk, Audit, or Compliance functions.
- Project management and business analytics experience.
- Strong stakeholder management skills with ability to engage senior leadership
. - Advanced Excel skills for reporting and analysis.
- Tableau experience for dashboards and management reporting.
- ABCP or CBCP certification
. - University degree or equivalent professional qualification.
- PMP certification
. - Experience with reporting and monitoring tools
. - Familiarity with enterprise or internal BCM platforms (training provided).
