Infrastructure Architect

Job Title: Technology Architect - Intermediate

Location: Toronto, ON

We are seeking a Senior Infrastructure & Network Engineer to act as a subject matter expert supporting enterprise on-prem and hybrid cloud infrastructure. This role focuses on networking, SDN, VMware, automation, and service reliability, with hands-on involvement in design, integration, migration, and operational excellence.

• Design, build, and support enterprise on-prem and hybrid cloud infrastructure
• Implement and manage SDN networking, micro-segmentation, and tenant-based architectures
• Support VMware environments including networking, patching, and lifecycle management
• Automate infrastructure and network operations using scripting and CI/CD pipelines
• Integrate enterprise services such as identity management, logging, and monitoring
• Support infrastructure refresh, legacy modernization, and migration initiatives
• Provide SRE support including automation, monitoring, and incident resolution
• Assist teams with complex infrastructure design and build activities

• Extensive knowledge in deploying and managing core IT systems, including networks, firewalls, SDN and hypervisors.
• Proficient in Networking and VMware with hands-on experience.
• Facilitate integration and enablement across various industry platforms including VPNs, B2B and Business Connect.
• Proven hands-on experience with on-prem cloud environments, including VMware networking, automation, patching, and CI/CD pipelines for Infrastructure as Code.
• Extensive experience in networking design and implementation using SDN, tenants, and micro-segmentation with VMware and Cisco ACI.
• Comprehensive knowledge of firewalls, L2/L3, and routing, with practical hands-on experience.
