Make a difference in API security with Cognizant as a Lead QA Engineer in Toronto. Drive quality and implement security controls while leveraging your experience in API testing and development.
This hybrid role requires 3-4 days a week in our Toronto office. As a lead, you will design API security controls within the Apigee platform, ensuring seamless version control and compliance with security principles. Collaborate closely with development teams and business stakeholders to enhance the quality and reliability of API solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
• Implement API security controls using Apigee's features
• Develop automated test frameworks, utilizing Postman
• Integrate with Git Hub and develop CI/CD pipeline best practices
• Collaborate with development teams to uphold security standards
• Identify security vulnerabilities and ensure compliance
Requirements:
• 8+ years in Quality Assurance or API Development
• Expertise in Apigee proxy, policy, and configuration
• Proficiency in Node.js for API tasks
• Strong grasp of API security principles
• Experience with Git Hub and API testing frameworks
