In this pivotal role, you will report to the Section Manager and work alongside various internal teams and external vendors. Your experience will be vital for administering the Site Characterization Data Management System and enhancing technology use. This role demands strong evaluations of data compliance and delivering user support, all while contributing to NWMO's mission of safe waste management.
Key Responsibilities:
• Administer Site Characterization Data Management System
• Evaluate data compliance thoroughly and regularly
• Maintain the Seequent DAP Server as primary contact
• Collaborate with IT on performance and user training
• Create and manage organizational metadata
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or similar
• 6+ years of experience in environmental data monitoring
• Familiarity with GIS platforms and software enhancements
• Ability to work in regulated environments
• Strong multitasking and communication skills
