About Us

We are building an AI-powered real estate platform from the ground up in Toronto. We match buyers and renters with properties through a conversational AI system, qualify leads automatically, and route verified, ready-to-view clients directly to agents — with documentation handled end-to-end.

Our consumer-facing platform launches at  .

We are at the company formation stage. The technology is built. The business model is validated. Now we are putting together the founding team.

The Opportunity

This is not a traditional employment offer.

We are looking for a licensed Broker of Record to join us as a founding operational partner — someone who will help shape how the brokerage runs, build the agent roster, and grow with the company as it scales across GTA and Ontario.

Your RECO broker license is the operational foundation of our brokerage (Aegis Concierge Inc.). It also enables our platform to connect to TRREB MLS and CREA DDF APIs — the data infrastructure that powers property search and live listing display on our website. Without a licensed resident broker, we cannot legally access or display MLS listing data. This is a core dependency of the product, not a side function of the role.

What You'll Do Regulatory & Compliance
  • Serve as the licensed Broker of Record for Aegis Concierge Inc. under RECO / TRESA
  • Oversee trust account, approve transactions, and sign required documentation (Form 320, BDRA templates, agent agreements)
  • Be the primary contact with RECO during audits or regulatory inquiries
  • Monitor legislative changes: REBBA 2002, TRESA, FINTRAC
MLS & Data Access
  • Maintain active credentials and authorization for TRREB MLS feed and CREA DDF
  • Ensure the brokerage's licensed status enables uninterrupted API access for the platform
  • Work with the tech team to keep data integrations compliant with board requirements
Agent Network
  • Recruit, onboard, and manage RECO-licensed agents operating under the brokerage
  • Build the agent roster: starting with 5, scaling to 25+ within 12 months
  • Train agents on platform workflows, buyer/tenant representation standards, and our operational model
  • Maintain quality control across files, offers, and client-facing interactions
Operations
  • Establish and run the physical brokerage office in GTA
  • Develop internal SOPs and compliance documentation
  • Collaborate with the product team to align platform features with regulatory requirements
What We're Looking For Must-have:
  • Active RECO Broker license (Ontario) —
    required on day one
  • Canadian resident with existing TRREB membership or eligibility
  • Proven experience running or co-running a brokerage in Ontario
  • Deep understanding of TRESA, REBBA 2002, and RECO compliance obligations
  • Comfort working inside a tech-driven, process-heavy environment
Strong fit if you:
  • Have managed a team of 10+ agents
  • Have experience with buyer/tenant representation and cooperating commission model
  • Are comfortable with digital tools, e-signature platforms, and CRM systems
  • Want to be part of building something, not just maintaining it
  • Speak Russian or Ukrainian — a meaningful advantage given our founding team and target agent community
