Dev Ops Engineer- Dev Sec Ops

Location: Toronto, ON (Hybrid – 4 Days Onsite)

Duration: 12 Months

Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced Dev Ops Engineer to design, implement, and support enterprise-scale CI/CD pipelines and Dev Sec Ops  practices. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Jenkins, Git Hub Actions, Open Shift, container platforms, cloud technologies, and security integration within automated deployment pipelines. Experience in Banking, Financial Services, Fin Tech, or Insurance environments is highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities

CI/CD Pipeline Engineering

• Design, implement, and maintain end-to-end CI/CD pipelines from code commit through production deployment.
• Build and support automated deployment workflows across multiple applications and technology stacks.
• Migrate applications from legacy build and deployment processes to modern CI/CD platforms such as Jenkins and Git Hub Actions.
• Optimize deployment processes to improve reliability, scalability, and efficiency.

Dev Sec Ops  & Security Integration

• Integrate security controls and scanning tools into CI/CD pipelines.
• Implement and maintain automated security scanning using tools such as Sonar Qube, SAST, DAST, and Aqua.
• Ensure security and compliance standards are incorporated throughout the software delivery lifecycle.
• Collaborate with development and security teams to address vulnerabilities and improve application security.

Cloud & Container Platform Management

• Deploy, configure, and support Open Shift Container Platform environments.
• Manage Open Shift clusters, including scaling, monitoring, performance tuning, and troubleshooting.
• Support containerized application deployments and platform automation initiatives.
• Partner with application teams to modernize and automate deployment processes on cloud platforms.

Collaboration & Support

• Work closely with development, infrastructure, security, and operations teams.
• Provide technical guidance and best practices for Dev Ops and cloud-native development.
• Troubleshoot deployment, infrastructure, and platform-related issues.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives across Dev Ops processes and tooling.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Dev Ops, Platform Engineering, or Site Reliability Engineering (SRE).
• Strong hands-on experience with Jenkins and Git Hub Actions.
• Expertise in CI/CD pipeline design, implementation, and automation.
• Experience with Open Shift and container orchestration platforms.
• Strong understanding of Dev Sec Ops  principles and security tooling.
• Hands-on experience with Sonar Qube, SAST, DAST, and Aqua Security.
• Experience with Git-based source control and release management practices.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with in Banking, Financial Services, Fin Tech, or Insurance organizations.
• Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible, etc.).
• Experience supporting enterprise-scale application environments.
• Familiarity with monitoring, observability, and platform reliability practices.
