Security Engineering Internship

Embark on a Security Engineering Internship with us this Fall, starting on September 8th. Focus on vulnerability assessment and the deployment of security tools within the team.

This role is excellent for students aiming to advance their skills in a real-world environment. You'll engage in identifying vulnerabilities, deploying Dev Sec Ops  tools, and working with AWS and Kubernetes. Use Python to build integrated security solutions while supporting our mission to secure web applications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify and patch vulnerabilities in web apps and APIs

• Maintain Dev Sec Ops  tools as part of CI/CD workflows

• Apply least-privileged access policies using Hashicorp Vault

• Conduct investigations of security alerts through logs

• Develop and implement security tooling in Python scripts

Requirements:

• Experience with security testing tools such as Wireshark

• Understanding of cloud networking concepts

• Ability to analyze and prioritize vulnerabilities

• Proficiency in Python, Bash, Docker for development

• Flexibility to collaborate within Eastern Time overlap
