Division: IGM Wealth Management Operations & Contact Centres

The Manager, Data Driven Transformation, will be a key contributor on the Transformation Services team within Wealth Management Operations and Enterprise Contact Centres. This role applies advanced knowledge of data analytics, automation, and AI within the business and is responsible for identifying opportunities, developing data‑driven strategies, and working with a team of specialized professionals to execute transformation initiatives that enhance operational efficiency and client value.
This position requires a strategic thinker with a hands‑on approach, who is passionate about leveraging emerging technologies to solve complex business problems within the wealth management sector. The ideal candidate will champion a culture of continuous improvement and data‑centric decision‑making.
Major Responsibilities- Data Strategy and Analytics
- Develop and advance a data and analytics strategy for WMO to identify, assess and prioritize opportunities for process optimization and automation.
- Analyze complex datasets to extract actionable insights, identify trends, and measure the impact of transformation initiatives.
- Oversee the design and creation of insightful reports and dashboards using tools like Looker and Power BI to provide visibility into operational performance.
- Work with data engineering and IT partners to define data requirements and ensure the availability of high‑quality data.
- Automation and Continuous Improvement
- Identify, assess, and implement automation opportunities using tools such as Power Automate and other scripting/configuration technologies.
- Champion continuous improvement methodologies to systematically enhance business processes, reduce manual effort, and increase efficiency.
- Design and document end‑to‑end automated solutions that are scalable, maintainable, and well‑structured.
- AI and Emerging Technologies
- Stay abreast of emerging technologies, particularly in AI and machine learning, and assess their potential application within the wealth management operations space.
- Lead pilot projects and proof‑of‑concepts to evaluate the feasibility and benefit of new AI‑powered solutions.
- Apply advanced knowledge of AI and related technologies to support automation and data analysis.
- Leadership and Collaboration
- Work with and mentor a team of business specialists and analysts, fostering their skills in data analysis, automation, and project execution.
- Communicate complex technical concepts and data‑driven insights to a non‑technical audience, including senior leadership.
- Education
- University degree in Business, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.
- Experience
- 5-7 years of experience in the Financial Services industry, with a strong preference for a background in wealth management.
- Proven experience applying advanced knowledge in data analytics, business intelligence, or data‑driven process improvement.
- Demonstrated success leading and delivering automation and transformation initiatives.
- Experience with front and back‑office servicing is an asset.
- Technical Skills
- Proficiency with data visualization and reporting tools such as Looker and/or Power BI.
- Hands‑on experience with automation platforms like Power Automate.
- Understanding of data systems and experience working with databases (knowledge of SAP HANA is a strong asset).
- Deep knowledge of the MS Office Suite.

- Competitive base salary ($69,500 - $90,000) with performance‑weighted bonus.
