Our financial services client is seeking a Senior Data / Business Analyst (5+ years) to support data modernization and migration within commercial banking analytics using Azure Databricks

Join a data strategy and governance team driving major modernization across commercial banking analytics. The role focuses on transitioning legacy SQL Server and Power BI reporting to Azure Databricks while supporting CRM data hygiene and quality initiatives. This position offers hands‑on exposure to modern cloud data platforms, master data assets, and Salesforce environments. Candidates will have visibility across high‑profile banking data transformation projects.

• 5+ years as a Data / Business Analyst leading data migration
  , data lineage documentation
  , and source‑to‑target mapping initiatives
• 3–5 years of hands‑on SQL Server experience developing complex queries and stored procedures for data profiling and inconsistency analysis
• 3–5 years of Power BI experience analyzing reports,
  DAX
  , data models
  , and dataflows to extract and document business logic
• Experience in Data Quality & Governance conducting root‑cause analysis with CRM/Salesforce environments focused on data hygiene
• Familiarity with Azure Databricks to support mapping of legacy data transformations to new cloud‑based data products
• Bachelor’s degree

• 2–3 years hands‑on experience with Salesforce CRM platform
• Experience working across multiple business, data, and IT stakeholder groups
• Exposure to MDM tools or data solution requirements gathering
• Previous experience in top banking or financial institution environments
• Data Bricks certification

• Analyze legacy SQL Server and Power BI reports to document data transformations, logic, and mappings
• Map and migrate legacy data assets to the Azure Databricks platform
• Identify redundant reporting logic and streamline overall data processes
• Perform data profiling and quality analysis using SQL and Excel
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, data engineers, and IT teams to translate reporting logic into modernization requirements
• Investigate and resolve data hygiene issues across CRM and source systems
• Report on progress and remediation efforts within assigned data work streams
