Position: Senior AWS Quick Sight BI Developer (Tableau)

AWS Quick Sight Dashboard Specialist

Location:

Toronto, ON - Hybrid (2-3 Days WFO)

Only 10+ years experienced candidates required.

Key Skills and Experience

3-5 years of Tableau experience.

7-9 years of Quick Sight experience.

Experience with AWS services and Data Portal (advantageous).

Strong Python, SQL, Spark/PySpark, and data pipeline engineering experience.

Hands‑on experience with AWS data services and cloud‑based data platforms.

Ability to support Tableau consumption: data connections, extracts/live queries, performance tuning, access/security, and troubleshooting dashboard data issues.

Experience building governed, production‑grade data products with metadata, lineage, data quality checks, access controls, and SLAs.

Strong data modelling skills: standardization, normalization, reusable data structures, and business‑friendly data design.

Experience partnering with product owners, data stewards, business SMEs, and technology teams.

Production mindset: testing, monitoring, documentation, incident support, and operational handover.

Preference for candidates with financial services or investment data experience and prior experience supporting governed data products consumed through BI tools like Tableau.

Minimum overall experience required: 10+ years.
