Salesforce DevOps Engineer

Overview

Salesforce Dev Ops Engineer:
On behalf of our Banking client, Procom is searching for a Salesforce Dev Ops Engineer for a 4-month role. This position is a hybrid position with 2-3 days onsite at our client’s Toronto office.

• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for Salesforce using Git-based workflows
• Manage multi-setting release strategies (Dev, QA, UAT, Pre-Prod, Prod)
• Coordinate scheduled releases, hotfixes, and emergency deployments
• Ensure deployment activities follow audit, security, and compliance standards
• Manage Salesforce metadata lifecycle using source control (Git)
• Handle sandbox strategy (creation, refresh, data masking)
• Resolve deployment conflicts related to Profiles, Permission Sets, Record Types, Page Layouts, Flows, Apex, and dependencies

• 10+ years of overall work experience in a related field
• 5+ years of experience with Salesforce metadata deployments
• Experience with Git-based source control
• Understanding of Salesforce limits, metadata dependencies, and deployment constraints
• Experience building or managing CI/CD pipelines (Git Hub Actions, Azure Dev Ops, Git Lab, etc.)
• Hands-on experience with Salesforce Dev Ops tools such as Gearset, Copado, Auto Rabit, or equivalent
• Ability to troubleshoot deployment failures and dependency issues

• Salesforce Platform Developer experience
• Experience with Unlocked Packages / Managed Packages
• Exposure to Salesforce DX
• Experience in regulated or enterprise environments (banking, insurance, healthcare)
• Salesforce certifications (PD1, Advanced Admin, Dev Ops-related certs)

This is a contract position until October 31st.
