Senior Consultant

Infosys is seeking a Senior Product Owner in the Payments domain. The resource will be joining our financial services domain consulting team, a specialized team with expertise in supporting Banking, Cards & Payments, Mortgage and other domain projects.

The candidate will be responsible to interface with end-users, IT teams, and key stakeholders to gather system requirements. The role also requires applying technical proficiency across different stages of the software development life cycle, including requirements elicitation. The Product Owner will support knowledge transfer to provide value‑adding consulting solutions that enable our clients to meet the changing needs of the global landscape.

• Located within commuting distance of Toronto, Ontario or Calgary, Alberta, or willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel.
• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent from an accredited institution. Three years of progressive experience in the specialty may be considered in lieu of each year of education.
• At least 4 years of Information Technology experience.
• Authorized to work for any employer in Canada without employer‑based visa sponsorship. Infosys is unable to provide immigration sponsorship for this role at this time.
• At least 4 years of experience as Product Owner in the Payments domain, including Fedwire, CHIPS, ACH, TCH, ISO / SWIFT messages.
• At least 3 years of experience working on ISO formats.

• At least 4 years of experience as a Product Owner creating product features and user stories.
• At least 4 years of experience creating requirement specifications based on Architecture/Design/Detailing of Processes.
• At least 4 years of experience capturing requirements related to internal/external consulting, documenting, and mapping current business processes.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Planning and coordination skills.
• Experience and desire to work in a management consulting environment that requires regular travel.

• Contribute to the functional design, architecture of the solution, and product configuration for implementation.
• Lead project planning and delivery effort from the domain team.
• Build value through deep product, functional, and application expertise and client manager engagement capabilities.

The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods. It requires the ability to communicate by telephone, email, or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.
