Position: QA Analyst, Test Automation Consultant (12 Months Contract)

As Quality Assurance (QA) Analyst, Test Automation, you will contribute to a multifaceted group focused on transforming our platforms into industry-leading digital products.

Responsibilities include the development, maintenance, and execution of automated test cases.

The successful candidate will collaborate within a fast-paced, Agile environment alongside Product Owners, a Scrum Master, Business Analysts, and Developers.

This role is hybrid (2 - 3 days/week in the office) - based in Toronto, ON.

Key Accountabilities:
  • Design, develop and maintain automation framework/software solutions
  • Establish and participate in a quality assurance culture that is based on user satisfaction and continuous improvement
  • Identify and evaluate the risks related to the quality of applications
  • Able to convert business requirements into test cases and test scenarios
  • Manage and set up test environments
  • Recommend innovative ideas to automate and reduce manual QA efforts
  • Coordinate and perform all testing activities in the software development process
  • Work with RESTful APIs, Restful Interfaces, Regular Expressions
  • Participate in ongoing process improvement efforts to ensure test automation is promoted and applied effectively in the squad
  • Research tools, methods, and technology trends to support program test automation objectives
  • Produce high-integrity documentation
Must Have(s):
  • Automation design and scripting skills
  • Strong development skills with Selenium, Python and Pytest Framework, Web Services and REST APIs.
  • Experienced with variety of Quality Assurance technology architecture including application, infrastructure, data and security
  • Solid understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum frameworks
  • Experience with Tools such as JIRA, Test Rail
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, technical, and troubleshooting skills
  • Well organized, result-oriented, self-motivated, collaborative
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in all functions of system testing
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in software development and quality assurance
Nice to have:
  • Experience with automation within the Salesforce platform (Service Cloud/ Experience Cloud
  • Knowledge and proficiency in SQL/SOQL
  • Organized, focused and persistent - ability to work to the plan and meet delivery dates
  • Experience using automation frameworks is an asset

Salary Range: $65/h -$70/h CAD
