Position: Project Manager for City Technology Services
Lead transformative projects with the City of Toronto as a Project Manager in Technology Services. Focus on managing complex IT initiatives and project life cycles in this full-time role.
The City of Toronto seeks a Project Manager with extensive IT experience for a 24-month position. You will oversee the eScheduling Project, migrating a legacy system to UKG Pro Cloud. Key responsibilities include budget management, resource allocation, and risk mitigation, while ensuring adherence to best practices and organizational standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead project lifecycle for eScheduling and other IT initiatives

• Develop and manage budgets, plans, and project scopes

• Supervise project staff and promote continuous learning

• Oversee vendor and contractor relationships for project success

• Communicate project progress to stakeholders effectively
Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of project management experience

• PMP certification required

• Experience with large IT initiatives and budgeting

• Knowledge of scheduling and payroll systems considered an asset

• Excellent communication and leadership skills
