CIBC is currently seeking a Senior Database Administrator for a six-month contract, with the potential for extension. As a key team member among 20 DBAs, you will handle complex troubleshooting, optimize performance, and collaborate with various technical teams. Your responsibilities will include taking ownership of production incidents, providing clear communication to stakeholders, and ensuring database security compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead technical resolutions for production incidents

• Analyze recurring issues and drive service improvements

• Communicate complex technical issues to stakeholders

• Participate in disaster recovery exercises and post-mortems

• Install and maintain Oracle and SQL Server databases

Requirements:

• 5-7 years of Azure Cloud database experience

• 2+ years with Postgre

SQL databases

• Proven expertise in database tuning and optimization

• Experience in cloud migration processes

• Knowledge of database backup and recovery processes
