Position: Sr Technical Manager, IAM Agentic AI Compliance (Global Security) (Old )

Overview

Senior Technical Manager, IAM Agentic AI Compliance is a key role in supporting IAM globally and driving adherence to our AI identity controls. The role bridges emerging enterprise AI technologies with identity governance, access management, processes and metrics, and builds partnerships across IAM, Global Security and AI technology owners to maintain our AI governance model.

I AM is pivotal in the evolution of Agentic AI and will be a foundation for RBC’s ability to scale secure, intelligent identity governance in an increasingly complex threat landscape. The role will help embed IAM AI identity controls into RBC’s AI and agentic landscape and enable reporting on compliance with identity controls and IT risk policies and standards, demonstrating EIAM risk posture through data-driven analysis and actionable metrics.

Responsibilities
  • AI Identity Control Development and Implementation:
    Support IAM related metrics to report on AI  performance; collaborate across IAM internal teams and cross-functional RBC AI related teams linked with IAM control compliance.
  • Maintain mappings of enterprise-wide AI identity related controls to processes and procedures, aligning to RBC Standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain the IAM AI  suite and associated procedures; assist in control testing efforts along with EIAM key controls alignment.
  • AI Identity Metrics and Reporting:
    Identify and support reporting requirements and control points to demonstrate AI identity risk posture to IAM and Global Security management.
  • Leverage reporting and metrics to evolve the AI identity compliance landscape and develop actionable steps to improve control performance.
  • Identify and assist in cataloguing potential gaps in IAM and AI , including thematic analysis on non-compliant components in the ecosystem.
  • AI Identity Consultation and Governance Support:
    Provide input and consultancy for audit, regulatory and external inquiries related to IAM AI identity controls.
  • Build awareness of IAM control compliance and risk remediation needs across RBC, including enterprise and AI identity controls.
  • Facilitate evidence gathering for relevant IAM audits, regulatory and third-party requests for evidence.
  • Act as a subject matter expert on IAM AI identity controls and procedures, supporting cross-functional teams within IAM, Global Security and T&O.
What you need to succeed
  • Must-have
  • 5+ years’ experience in IT architecture and system implementation
  • 3+ years of working knowledge in AI platform implementations and AI technology stack
  • I AM knowledge and/or motivation to develop IAM expertise
  • 3+ years of experience in IT Risk, Control Assurance and Compliance, preferably within a global financial services organization
  • Track record delivering results across multiple work streams within timebound delivery expectations
  • Ability to translate complex technical concepts into simple terms
  • Strong collaboration skills to influence and drive change without oversight
  • Self-driven, goal oriented, and adaptable to changes quickly
  • Commitment to continuous learning and rapidly acquiring new and emerging technical domain knowledge
  • Nice-to-have
  • Working knowledge and direct engagement with RBC’s AI technologies and strategies
  • AI security and/or zero-trust architecture experience
  • AI security model development
  • Industry security certifications (CRISC, CISSP, etc.)
