The role in BuildX involves the following:
Mentorship: We’ll surround you with technology experts who are masters of their craft and ready to share their knowledge and experience.
Formal training: We make it our mission to support you as you strive for self‑improvement. You’ll follow our proprietary learning journey designed to broaden your technology skillset.
Hands‑on experience: We’ll help you start shipping production‑ready code by putting you to work on meaningful projects.
What does success look like in this role?- Completing training activities focused on building your capabilities
- Putting training into practice in your pod (supported by a Senior Engineer)
- Shipping working code to support overall delivery with a focus on continuous improvement of your capabilities and output
- Collaborating with your assigned mentor on your current progress and future focuses
- Grabbing the keyboard and digging in

The salary range for this role is $60,000–$75,000 CAD, reflecting expected base pay. Total compensation may also include additional pay such as bonuses or incentives, depending on the position, and final offers are based on experience, skills, and qualifications. As part of our hiring process we may use technology, including AI‑based tools, to help summarize and assess applications; these tools assist our team and do not replace human review or decision‑making.
