Hours per day: 7.00

• At least 10 years of solution architecture experience in a leadership capacity, gained in a complex technological environment, paired with post‑secondary education in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems or Math (or an equivalent combination of education and experience).
• Demonstrated hands‑on knowledge in solution architecture design and system integration, including but not limited to specification, configuration, and implementation.
• Knowledge and experience in Salesforce platform (Experience Cloud, Service Cloud, Agentforce etc) and related solutions.
• Knowledge and experience in industry popular web platforms and frameworks.
• Knowledge and experience in integration design through middleware/API.

• Public Sector Experience

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross‑functional teams and stakeholders; both technical and non‑technical.
• Experience in creating and maintaining technical documentation, including system architecture diagrams, configuration specifications, knowledge articles, and deployment procedures.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with a deep attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced workplace.

• Assess City’s existing technology solution landscape and architecture, with a focus on public‑facing digital solutions.
• Develop City’s target public‑facing solution architecture.
• Ensure architecture design aligns with business goals and objectives.
• Stakeholder management including communicating complex technical concepts in an easy‑to‑understand way, and consensus building.
