Global Director of Project Management Office

Lead strategic IT initiatives as the Director of the Project Management Office at Colliers, based in Toronto. This hybrid role requires a focus on governance, global team management, and operational excellence.
As a global leader in the PMO, you will develop effective standards and processes for IT project delivery. With a strong emphasis on Agile methodologies and resource allocation, this role demands expertise in managing diverse portfolios that align with business strategies. You'll partner with IT and business leaders to ensure effective governance and the successful execution of IT programs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain global PMO strategy and governance

• Define tools and methodologies for IT project life cycles

• Oversee planning and execution of IT programs

• Manage a global team of project management professionals

• Implement financial management processes for project budgets
Requirements:

• 10+ years of IT project management experience

• 5+ years in senior PMO leadership or portfolio management

• Strong understanding of project management methodologies

• Proven track record in managing global teams

• Certifications such as PMP or equivalent preferred
