Position: Internship in Data Analytics at Hitachi Rail
Launch your analytics career as a Data and Business Intelligence Intern with Hitachi Rail, located in Toronto, Ontario. This full-time, hybrid role engages in Power BI reporting and innovative AI solutions.
From September 2026 to August 2027, you'll collaborate with experienced professionals on real-world projects. This internship is targeted at final-year Computer Science or IT students. You'll be involved in data modeling, report verification, and security implementation, empowering decision-making across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Facilitate BI development across various teams

• Build semantic models for BI and AI applications

• Manage security configurations for data models

• Contribute to user-friendly report designs

• Analyze data sets and propose integrity improvements
Requirements:

• Enrolled in a Computer Science or Software Engineering program

• Solid skills in Power BI, SQL, and DAX

• Familiarity with Python scripting for automation

• Excellent organizational and communication skills

• Able to work 40 hours per week in a hybrid setup
