Position: Hybrid Database Engineer Opportunity
Join Coast Capital as a Database Engineer, where you will adapt and optimize our data systems in a hybrid work setup. Your expertise will be vital for data integrity and enhanced operations.
In this full-time, hybrid position based in Toronto or Surrey, your primary responsibility will be to ensure the reliability and security of our database management systems. With a focus on Oracle and AWS cloud computing, you will design, implement, and troubleshoot essential database infrastructure to drive effective decision-making across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design high-availability database systems and structures

• Manage ETL processes for seamless data extraction and loading

• Ensure data accuracy through rigorous quality standards

• Conduct technical assessments for new technologies

• Create plans for system upgrades and maintenance
Requirements:

• At least 5 years of database engineering experience

• Degree in Computer Science or a relevant field

• Strong knowledge of Oracle and SQL Server

• Familiarity with AWS, Azure, or GCP

• Skills in SQL scripting and performance tuning
