We are looking for Business Analyst to join a Capital Markets technology team supporting a range of strategic initiatives focused on funding, liquidity, collateral, and optimization processes. This role is suited for candidates ranging from junior to senior levels who are interested in working closely with both business and technology teams to drive process improvements, deliver analytical insights, and support platform enhancements.

The successful candidate will collaborate with trading, funding, and operations stakeholders while helping translate business requirements into technology solutions. The position offers exposure to multiple asset classes and a broad range of capital markets functions.

• Gather, analyze, and document business requirements for technology and process improvement initiatives.
• Work closely with front-office and operational stakeholders to understand business challenges and identify opportunities for optimization.
• Create functional specifications, process maps, and supporting documentation.
• Facilitate communication between business users, development teams, and project stakeholders.
• Support testing activities, issue resolution, and implementation efforts.
• Perform data analysis and reporting to support business decision-making.
• Assist with dashboard development, reporting enhancements, and analytical initiatives.
• Contribute to long-term strategic solutions while balancing immediate business needs.

Candidates should possess experience or knowledge in several of the following areas:

• Capital Markets products and workflows
• Equities and fixed income markets
• End-to-end trade lifecycle processes
• Collateral management
• Inventory management
• Initial and variation margin processes
• Market funding and liquidity management
• Securities financing and resource management
• Triparty collateral arrangements

Additional exposure to the following areas would be considered an asset:

• Allocation methodologies and optimization frameworks
• Internal funding models
• Transfer pricing concepts
• Collateral optimization strategies
• Internal allocation and funding mechanisms

Required:

• Working knowledge of SQL for data analysis and reporting
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot tables and complex data manipulation
• Ability to analyze large datasets and derive actionable insights

Preferred:

• Experience with Databricks environments
• Familiarity with Python-based analytics
• Exposure to data visualization and reporting tools
• Knowledge of dashboard development platforms such as Power BI
• Experience working with modern data and analytics technologies
