In this senior position, you will lead initiatives that advance data governance within the Canada segment. Partner with Global Data Governance and other stakeholders to enhance data quality and compliance. Take ownership of governance processes and utilize advanced tools to automate and improve data management standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead data governance execution across Canada

• Manage data quality, access controls, and metadata

• Oversee adherence to governance policies and standards

• Translate strategies into actionable governance plans

• Identify process improvement opportunities
Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline

• 5+ years in data governance roles

• Proficient in Informatica platforms

• Strong analytical and data lifecycle management skills

• Familiarity with Databricks and Python
Champion data governance initiatives and bring strategic improvements to Manulife’s data practices.
