Position: Senior Data Scientist for Sales Team
Wealthsimple seeks a Senior Data Scientist to support our Sales team with expertise in data modeling and machine learning. Leverage your skills in stakeholder management and experimentation to make a significant impact.
In this senior role, you will lead high-priority initiatives and support the Commercial team by developing data models, dashboards, and machine learning solutions. We require strong SQL and Python skills, as well as experience in managing team dynamics. Your work will directly influence our north star metric through exploration and application of data science techniques.

Key Responsibilities:

• Model sales data and improve reporting for stakeholders

• Conduct exploratory data analysis on sales processes

• Define, prototype, and enhance machine learning models

• Design experiments to test customer hypotheses

• Collaborate with Data Science, Commercial Leadership, and other teams
Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in data science or decision science

• Proficiency in SQL and Python; dbt and Airflow experience preferred

• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills

• Understanding of sales and client behavior

• Experience with applied statistics and A/B testing
