Job Description:
This role is responsible for enterprise ownership of Legal Technology platforms supporting regulatory compliance, eDiscovery, legal hold, and contract management systems.
The position combines SaaS engineering, cloud integration, production support, vendor management, and identity/security integration within a regulated banking environment.
We're looking for an intermediate-level software engineer with strong SaaS integration experience who will act as the technical owner of multiple enterprise SaaS and hybrid systems.
Responsibilities span onboarding SaaS platforms, integrating with Azure-Based identity systems, managing applications, and coordinating with vendors and enterprise architecture teams.
4–6 years of experience in enterprise application engineering, SaaS integration, or production support roles. Experience in regulated industries such as banking or financial services is strongly preferred (specifically TD). The candidate should demonstrate ownership mindset, strong troubleshooting ability, and familiarity with cloud identity systems.
Primary Responsibilities:
Application Ownership Own end to end lifecycle of enterprise legal applications
SaaS Delivery & Modernization Lead onboarding of SaaS legal platforms
Configure enterprise SaaS integration
Support migration from legacy on-prem systems
Cloud and Identity (Azure Ecosystem)
Implement and support cloud integrations using Azure Manage identity and access using Microsoft Entra IDSupport SSO, MFA, and conditional access policies
Integration Engineering Build and support REST API integrations
Manage batch data processing and scheduled jobs Support file transfer protocols (SFTP, APIs, TIBCO)
Integrate N365 services (outlook, exchange, SharePoint)
Maintain SaaS connectors and middleware dependencies
Data & Database Support Understand relational database fundamentals
Support backups, recovery, and restore validation
Assist with data migration activities
Collaborate with DBAs and data engineers
Security & Compliance Ensure encryption standards and secure data handling
Manage access control models (RBAC)
Ensure compliance with enterprise banking standardsCUSTOMERDevelop new solutions as required for engineering programs and projects within assigned area Develop new features and perform unit / component test for new application development initiatives aligned to business needs and in accordance with technology architecture standards
Support business enquiries and business activities through execution of small enhancements and break / fix implementations (e.g. source code changes) May also be responsible for peer code review.
Work with technology partners to ensure the configuration and custom components meet application requirements and performance goals
Analyze the technical requirements to recommend pragmatic and sound engineering specific solutions for own area, may be involved in coding/story estimates
Work with other stakeholders, internal technology partners to ensure engineering solutions meet technical direction, requirements, performance, time-to-market and innovation goals
Monitor product life cycles, ensuring specifications and functionality support business objectives and engineering decisions, undertaking re-development where required
