This role is hybrid and requires you to be at our client's (Toronto Downtown) and/or downtown Toronto office ( Yonge Street) at a minimum 2 days per week - subject to change at any time.
We are looking for a Technical Delivery Lead to drive successful delivery of client engagements by combining strong technical expertise with delivery leadership. You will work closely with clients, architects, designers, and cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, scalable solutions while ensuring alignment with client expectations and CGI delivery standards.
Your future duties and responsibilities:
• Lead end-to-end delivery of client projects, ensuring scope, timelines, and quality commitments are met
• Collaborate closely with solution architects and designers to align on architecture, design decisions, and ensure seamless execution of delivery
• Drive Agile delivery practices (Scrum/Kanban), including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives
• Ensure adherence to delivery frameworks, quality standards, and governance models
• Identify, manage, and mitigate risks, issues, and dependencies across projects
• Track and report delivery metrics, and project health to leadership and clients
• Prepare and deliver effective presentations to stakeholders, providing clear insights into project status, risks, and technical solutions
• Foster strong client relationships and drive high client satisfaction
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• 8–12+ years of experience in IT services, consulting, or software delivery
• Proven experience leading large-scale, client-facing technology projects
• Strong understanding of SDLC, Agile methodologies, and delivery governance
• Hands-on experience with enterprise technologies (e.g., Java, APIs, cloud platforms such as Azure)
• Strong knowledge of modern engineering practices
• Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to clearly articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
Nice-to-Have Skills
