The candidate will assess current-state data protection capabilities, define a practical Data Loss Prevention (DLP) strategy, and evaluate tooling options to support enterprise data protection objectives across email, endpoints, cloud, and SaaS environments
Responsibilities:
- Review current-state DLP controls, policies, processes, and technology landscape
- Identify key data protection risks, coverage gaps, and improvement opportunities
- Provide strategic recommendation across monitoring, policy enforcement, and incident response
- Conduct tooling research and market assessment for DLP-related capabilities across endpoint, cloud, and web channels.
- Compare solution options based on capability, integration, scalability, operational effort, and cost considerations
- Recommend and provide clear documentation, recommendations, and decision-support materials in maturing DLP program
Required Skills
- 5+ years of cybersecurity experience, with direct experience in DLP, data protection, or information security strategy
- Proven experience developing enterprise DLP strategies or data protection roadmaps
- Experience evaluating and selecting security tooling in complex enterprise environments
- Strong understanding of structured and unstructured data protection risks across email, endpoint, cloud, and collaboration platforms
- Experience working with business and technology stakeholders
- Strong hands-on experience with DLP tools.
