QA Lead Integration Testing

Lead quality assurance as a QA Lead in a hybrid role based in Toronto, ON. You will define testing strategies and ensure quality across API, ETL, and Kafka integrations.

In this position, you will manage end-to-end testing strategies for a complex integration program. Bring your expertise in API and ETL testing, as well as Kafka systems, to guide QA efforts through significant testing phases such as SIT and UAT. This role emphasizes the importance of ensuring quality across functional and technical domains.

Key Responsibilities:

• Define end-to-end testing strategies for various scopes

• Design scenarios for ETL and API integrations

• Lead QA efforts during SIT, UAT, and regression testing

• Establish traceability between acceptance criteria and defects

• Manage test data efficiently for workplace readiness

Requirements:

• 6+ years in QA, with 2+ years in a lead role

• Experience with REST API testing tools like Postman

• Proven ability in Kafka systems and data validation

• Familiarity with defect management tools like Jira

• Knowledge of automation and AWS environments preferred
