Director of Data and IT Operations

Empower lung health initiatives as the Director of Data and IT Operations at the Lung Health Foundation in Toronto. Drive strategy and operations in a hybrid role focused on impactful data governance.
As the strategic leader for LHF’s IT and data management, this position reports to the Chief Financial Officer and plays a key role in developing a centralized lung health data hub. Oversee IT infrastructure while ensuring compliance with health data regulations. This leadership position will help enhance how data informs decision-making processes organization-wide.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the creation of a centralized health data hub

• Supervise IT staff and ensure infrastructure security

• Implement data governance and privacy protocols

• Collaborate with vendors to maintain IT operations

• Guide digital transformation and system improvements
Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in related field;
Master’s preferred

• 8+ years of leadership experience in IT or data environments

• Familiar with cloud technologies and data management tools

• Knowledge of PHIPA and health data privacy standards

• Excellent project management and communication skills
