RQ- UX Designer - Senior

• TheUX/UIDesignerand User Research Specialistisresponsiblefordesigninganddeliveringintuitive ,accessible,anduser-centereddigitalexperiences.
  
  Thisroleinvolvescreatingvisuallyappealinginterfacesandconductinguserresearchtoensureproductsmeettheneedsofusersacrosswebandmobileplatforms.
• Designanddevelopuserinterfacesfordigitalservices,applications,andonlineplatformsthatenhanceusabilityandoverallusersatisfaction.
  
  Defineanditerateonproductfunctionalitythroughuser-centereddesignpractices,ensuringsolutionsareinformedbyusabilitytesting,user feedback,andbusinessrequirements.
• Plan,conduct,andanalyzeuserresearchusingqualitativeandquantitativemethods,including interviews,surveys,usability testing,andbehavioralanalysis.
  
  Translateresearchfindingsintoactionableinsightsanddesignartifactssuchasuserflows,journey maps,wireframes,mockups,and prototypes.
• Applyaniterativedesignapproach,rapidlytestingandrefiningsolutionstoimprovetheuserexperience.
  
  Identifydesignchallengesanddevelopeffective,elegantsolutionsthatalignwithbothtechnicalconstraintsanduserexpectations.
• Collaboratewithcross-functional teams,including developers,stakeholders,andbusinessleads,tosupportproductvisionandensurealignmentwithprojectgoalsandtimelines.
  
  Deliver high-qualityoutputswhilemanagingmultipleprioritiesandmaintainingstrongattentiontodetail.

Experience With:

• User-centered design,UX/UIprinciples,anddesigninghigh-qualitydigitalexperiencesacrosswebandmobileplatforms.
• Conductinguserresearch,including interviews,surveys,usability testing,A/Btesting,andbehavioralanalysis.
• Creatingdesignartifactssuchaswireframes,prototypes,userflows,journey maps,and sitemaps.
• Designandprototypingtools(e.g.,Figma,Miro,AdobeXD,orsimilar).
• Translatingcomplexuserneedsandbusinessrequirementsintointuitivedesignsolutions.
• Webdevelopmenttechnologiesandtheirlimitationsindesigningfunctionalinterfaces.
• Accessibilityandinclusivedesignstandards(e.g.,WCAG,AODA).
• Analyzing analytics,user feedback,andresearchfindingstocontinuouslyimprovedigitalproducts.
• Collaboratingwithinmultidisciplinaryteamsusingagilemethodologiesandtools.
• Managingmultipleprojects,competing priorities,anddeliveringwithintighttimelines.

• Experience with Ontario Design Systems (ODS).
• Research Planning&Execution:
  
  Designandconductuserresearchusingqualitativeandquantitativemethods(interviews,surveys,usability testing,A/Btesting).
• User Behaviour Analysis :
  
  Analyzeuserneeds,behaviours,andmotivationstoinformdesigndecisions.
• Design&Prototyping Tools:
  
  Proficiencywithindustry-standardtoolsforUI/UXdesignandresearchdocumentation.
• Strong facilitation skills, working with various stakeholders including the technical team and business team - ability to draw consensus.
• Experience with Figma, Adobe suite, Miro
• Ensurethatdeliverablesalignwithaccessibilitystandards(e.g.,AODA/WCAG) andinclusivedesignprinciples.

Nice to have:

• Some experience with Azure/Dev Ops.
• Prior OPS or Public Sector exp.
