RBC is seeking a Senior Technical Specialist to enhance z/OS installations and support within the Mainframe Operating Systems team. Bring your expertise to this high-impact role focused on software management and maintenance.
In this senior position, you'll leverage over 10 years of mainframe experience to install and provide technical support for z/OS products, emphasizing Netview and System Automation. You'll collaborate extensively with production support teams and application development groups, ensuring timely problem resolution and innovative feature implementation.
Key Responsibilities:
• Install and support z/OS mainframe products, Netview and System Automation
• Collaborate with production support and application development teams
• Research and recommend new software feature implementations
• Maintain products at current support levels
• Address and resolve product-related issues promptly
Requirements:
• Over 10 years in mainframe software support
• 5+ years of REXX coding expertise
• Proficiency in IBM TSO, ISPF, and JCL
• Familiarity with software change management processes
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
