Location:

Toronto, ON (Hybrid – 4 days WFO)

Role Summary

The Project Manager / Scrum Master is responsible for leading the end-to-end delivery of projects, ensuring successful execution within scope, timeline, and budget. The role involves managing cross-functional teams, facilitating Agile ceremonies, driving delivery governance, and ensuring alignment with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Planning & Execution

    • Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and success criteria.
    • Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets.
    • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
  • Delivery Leadership

    • Lead and coordinate cross-functional teams across business and technology.
    • Track project progress and adjust plans as required.
    • Ensure adherence to delivery governance and quality standards.
  • Risk & Issue Management

    • Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and issues.
    • Manage dependencies and escalate when required.
    • Handle change requests and control scope creep.
  • Stakeholder Management

    • Manage stakeholder expectations and communications.
    • Provide regular status updates, milestones, and financial reporting to leadership.
    • Ensure alignment between business and technical teams.
  • Agile / Scrum Delivery

    • Facilitate Agile/Scrum ceremonies (stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives).
    • Support Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid delivery environments.
    • Ensure effective use of Agile tools and practices.
  • Project Closure

    • Ensure successful project closure and handover.
    • Conduct post-implementation reviews and capture lessons learned.
  • Required Skills & Experience
    • 10+ years of experience in Project Management / Program Delivery.
    • Strong experience managing large-scale enterprise projects.
    • Experience with Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, or Hybrid methodologies.
    • Robust stakeholder management and communication skills.
    • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
    • Proficiency with tools such as: JIRA, MS Project, Asana, Smartsheet.
