Contract: 6‑month term (with potential extension)

Hourly rate: CAD 65‑80 (final compensation determined by experience, skills, and location)
About the RoleHavas CX Canada seeks an experienced UX Researcher to support a large‑scale digital transformation initiative for a leading financial services organization. The role focuses on designing and delivering user research that informs the creation of a unified digital experience across web and mobile platforms. You will work closely with UX designers, strategists, product owners, and stakeholders to uncover customer needs, validate concepts, and provide actionable insights that shape product and experience decisions.
Responsibilities- Plan, design, and execute qualitative and quantitative UX research activities across web and mobile experiences
- Select appropriate research methodologies based on project objectives, timelines, and business constraints
- Conduct usability testing, user interviews, surveys, tree testing, concept validation, and other evaluative and generative research activities
- Manage end‑to‑end research execution, including participant recruitment, discussion guide development, moderation, analysis, and reporting
- Analyze and synthesize research findings into clear, actionable insights that inform product strategy, UX design, and prioritization decisions
- Present research findings and recommendations to cross‑functional teams and stakeholders
- Collaborate closely with UX Designers, Product Owners, Business Analysts, and Development teams throughout the product lifecycle
- Advocate for user‑centered design principles and evidence‑based decision making
- Contribute to research repositories, insight libraries, and knowledge‑sharing practices
- Help define success metrics and support ongoing measurement of user experience improvements
- 4+ years of professional UX Research experience within digital product environments
- Proven experience conducting both qualitative and quantitative research
- Strong expertise in usability testing, user interviews, surveys, and information architecture validation methods such as tree testing
- Experience planning and executing research independently from kickoff through final recommendations
- Robust analytical and synthesis skills with the ability to identify patterns, themes, and actionable opportunities
- Experience translating research insights into product and design recommendations
- Excellent communication, facilitation, presentation, and stakeholder management skills
- Experience working within Agile product teams
- Familiarity with web and mobile product design processes
- Experience in financial services, insurance, healthcare, or other highly regulated industries
- Experience working on customer account, profile, identity, or authenticated digital experiences
- Experience supporting large‑scale digital transformation or experience modernization initiatives
- Familiarity with tools such as User Testing, Optimal Workshop, Qualtrics, Dovetail, Maze, Figma, or similar platforms
