Analyst, Digital Health Strategy & Analytics
The Impact You’ll Make:
As an Analyst, Digital Health Strategy & Analytics (8-month contract) supporting the Strategy & Planning team, you’ll support the Digital Health business through product and web analytics. You’ll analyze large datasets to identify actionable insights that drive patient acquisition, improve retention, and enhance patient engagement across our digital health ecosystem (i.e., Shoppers Drug Mart, PC Health).
You’ll focus heavily on building dashboards, developing reports, and uncovering insights that help shape both product and business strategies. Working closely with Marketing and Product Managers, you’ll support performance tracking, forecasting, and data‑driven recommendations that inform key business decisions. You’ll explore patient behaviours, digital engagement trends, and campaign performance to help translate data into meaningful opportunities for growth and improved patient experiences.
You’ll collaborate closely with cross‑functional partners across Loblaw Media, Digital Messaging, Business Intelligence, and Product Strategy, ensuring analytics and insights fuel the next generation of digital health growth. Your work will directly influence how we evolve our omnichannel experience and deliver meaningful health solutions to Canadians.
What You’ll Do:- Leverage your advanced analytics toolkit (SQL, Python/R, Snowplow Analytics) to uncover actionable insights and deliver strategic recommendations that shape marketing and product strategies.
- Work across Product, Tech and other business partners to support ad‑hoc data requests by extracting, analysing, and uncovering insights through a variety of complex datasets (e.g., patient behaviour data, web analytics data, refill data, customer feedback data).
- Build reporting and analytics to better understand patient journeys and on‑site/in‑app engagement to drive traffic and conversion.
- Measure the impact of marketing campaigns to uncover insights, optimise performance, and improve targeting.
- Partner with BI and Digital Implementation teams to enhance data accuracy and develop workflow automations.
- Translate ambiguous data into clear, concise insights and recommendations for cross‑functional stakeholders.
- Previous experience in a management consulting, analytics, E‑Commerce, or high‑growth technology company with strong business acumen.
- Strong analytical skills with proficient experience in SQL and Excel.
- Demonstrated ability to manage priorities in a high‑capacity environment, handle ambiguity, and maintain focus while working on multiple complex projects independently.
- Exceptional organisational, problem‑solving, and critical‑thinking skills combined with the ability to synthesize and effectively communicate/story‑tell findings to all levels throughout the organisation.
- Experience in web analytics tools such as Snowplow Analytics, Google Analytics or similar platforms is preferred.
- Experience in data visualisation tools such as LookerML, Data Studio or similar platforms is preferred.
- Experience in utilising additional data analysis tools such as Python or RStudio.
- Knowledge of ETL processes & tools is an asset.
Location: 500 Lake Shore Blvd W, Toronto, ON M5V 2V9 (In office 4 days per week).
Compensation: $36.00 / hourly.
Employment Type: Full time.
Type of Role: Non‑Payroll Contractor.
Hiring Range / Échelle salariale à l’embauche : $80,000.00 – $ (per year / par an).
