Shape the future of GIS applications with our public sector client as a Senior Technology Specialist/Developer. This hybrid role focuses on migrating critical applications to ArcGIS Enterprise 11.5, with at least two days onsite weekly.
The Senior Technology Specialist/Developer will lead GIS modernization projects, including migrating from Esri ArcGIS Online to ArcGIS Enterprise. This role requires expertise in Esri application development, mentoring, and integrating complex systems. You will also design and build scalable web and mobile solutions that enhance enterprise functionalities and support the decommissioning of AWS GIS environments.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead GIS application migration and redevelopment efforts
• Design integrated web and mobile GIS solutions
• Develop high-quality applications using modern frameworks
• Support decommissioning of the AWS GIS platform
• Mentor junior developers and enforce best practices
Requirements:
• Degree in Computer Science or Geography
• 5+ years of experience in technical guidance
• Expertise in ArcGIS technologies and Python
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies
• Proven problem-solving and leadership skills
