Contribute to Valence's innovative AI-native coaching platform as a Platform Engineer. This role focuses on enhancing platform infrastructure for scalable, secure, and reliable AI solutions, primarily in a remote model.

Valence is seeking an experienced Platform Engineer to strengthen our infrastructure supporting enterprise AI systems. This position demands expertise in distributed systems, security implementation, and cloud environments, specifically AWS or GCP. You’ll play a key role in developing shared platform primitives and ensuring high standards of reliability and security while collaborating with multiple teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and manage shared platform primitives for various teams

• Establish CI/CD gates for change safety and reliability

• Implement security guardrails and auditing frameworks

• Run global delivery checks for enterprise customers

• Build templates optimizing internal developer workflows

Requirements:

• 8+ years in software engineering or platform roles

• Expertise in CI/CD, observability, and incident response

• Experience in cloud environments and containerization

• Strong coding skills and debugging capabilities

• Excellent communication with technical and non-technical teams
