About the Role

We are seeking a skilled OBIEE Developer responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining business intelligence solutions using Oracle BI tools. The role involves building dashboards, reports, and data models that support data‑driven decision‑making across the organization.

Required Skills
  • Solid experience in OBIEE 11g or 12c
  • RPD modeling including Physical, BMM, and Presentation layers
  • Expertise in Answers, Dashboards, and BI development
  • Oracle Database (preferred)
  • SQL Server or PostgreSQL
  • Understanding of query optimization, indexing, and joins
Responsibilities
  • Design and develop OBIEE dashboards, reports, and scorecards.
  • Create interactive visualizations for business users.
  • Customize reports with filters, prompts, and drill‑down capabilities.
  • Develop and maintain OBIEE Repository (RPD) including Physical Layer, Business Model & Mapping (BMM) Layer, and Presentation Layer.
  • Implement logical schemas, joins, hierarchies, and aggregates.
  • Translate business requirements into technical specifications.
  • Build and optimize data models for reporting and analytics.
  • Work closely with data warehouse and ETL teams.
  • Optimize report performance and query execution.
  • Troubleshoot issues related to slow reports or data inconsistencies.
  • Implement caching and aggregate navigation.
  • Integrate OBIEE with data sources including Oracle DB, SQL Server, and flat files.
  • Work with ETL tools such as Informatica, Data Stage, or Talend for data pipelines.
  • Support integration with other Oracle tools such as ODI or OAC.
  • Implement user authentication and authorization.
  • Manage data‑level security including row‑level and object‑level.
  • Ensure data governance and compliance policies are followed.
  • Perform unit testing, integration testing, and UAT support.
  • Handle deployments across environments including Dev, QA, and Prod.
  • Maintain version control of RPD and reports.
