Principal Engineer in Machine Learning

Position: Principal Engineer in Machine Learning at Autodesk
Lead innovative AEC transformations with Autodesk as a Principal Machine Learning Engineer, focusing on AI and data at scale in a hybrid or remote setting.

This role combines expertise in machine learning with architectural engineering insights to interpret complex datasets and drive advancements in AI solutions. Your mission includes designing data pipelines, collaborating across teams, and developing models that will shape next-generation applications across flagship Autodesk products like AutoCAD and Revit.

Key Responsibilities:

• Explore and analyze complex AEC datasets and models

• Create impactful data visualizations to share insights

• Build and curate high-quality datasets for machine learning

• Collaborate with researchers and product managers on questions

• Architect scalable data processing and analysis pipelines

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science or related field

• 5–8+ years of machine learning or software engineering experience

• Strong programming skills in Python and/or Type Script

• Experience with cloud platforms like AWS or Azure

• Background in Architecture, Engineering, or Construction
