Offensive Security Specialist

Based in the City of Toronto, this permanent full-time role reports to the Manager of Offensive Security. You will perform penetration testing, support Red Team activities, and develop ethical hacking strategies. This role emphasizes collaboration with senior team members to fortify cyber defenses and responds to threats.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in offensive security services with senior guidance

• Conduct authorized assessments of infrastructures and applications

• Support attack simulations and threat evaluations

• Recommend risk-based strategies to mitigate weaknesses

• Contribute to security tools and process improvements

Requirements:

• Post-secondary degree in a related field

• 2+ years of penetration testing experience

• Proficiency with NMap, Nessus, Metasploit, and more

• Knowledge of Server Operating Systems and TCP/IP networking

• Programming skills in C/C++, Java, or scripting
