Working with one of our top financial clients, this role calls for a Sr. Identity Engineer specializing in Active Directory to support large-scale directory environments and platform enhancements.
Responsibilities- Develop, modify, and optimize business logic and operational rules within Quest Active Roles Server (ARS) using advanced Power Shell scripting
- Customize and maintain ARS to support directory object management and workflows
- Automate directory management processes through scalable Power Shell solutions
- Support and enhance directory workflows, rules, and automation logic in Active Directory environments
- Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to implement platform improvements and resolve complex configuration issues
- Provide SME-level engineering support and troubleshooting for directory and identity platforms
- Assist with platform updates, governance, and lifecycle management across enterprise Active Directory systems
- Support helpdesk tools related to Active Directory object management and automation workflows
- Participate in technical discussions, scenario-based problem solving, and troubleshooting to improve system reliability and performance
- 10+ years of progressive experience in Active Directory engineering or related fields
- Strong expertise in Power Shell scripting and automation development
- Hands-on experience customizing and maintaining Quest Active Roles Server (ARS)
- In-depth knowledge of Active Directory object management, workflows, rules, and automation logic
- Experience supporting enterprise-scale Active Directory environments, including domain controllers, DNS, and GPOs
- Proven ability to review and troubleshoot complex directory configurations
- Experience working with vendors, internal teams, and cross-functional stakeholders
- Familiarity with supporting hybrid environments, SQL, and related infrastructure is a plus
- Prior experience working within banking or regulated enterprise environments
- Background support experience in large directory or infrastructure environments
- Hands-on experience managing hybrid Active Directory environments
- Knowledge of SQL and infrastructure support related to identity management
- Demonstrates initiative by identifying issues and proposing solutions
- Capable of working independently to drive projects from analysis through deployment
- Excellent communication skills, able to articulate technical concepts and influence decision-makers up to senior management
- Proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement
- Collaborative team player capable of working effectively with vendors, SMEs, and internal teams
- Leadership presence in technical discussions and problem-solving scenarios
