Senior DevOps & Infrastructure Engineer - Windows​/Azure​/Banking

Working with one of our top financial clients, this role calls for a Senior Dev Ops & Infrastructure Engineer specializing in Windows and Azure environments within the banking industry. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to complex, mission-critical projects while advancing your technical leadership skills in a dynamic setting.

• Design, implement, and maintain scalable, secure, and high-availability infrastructure solutions on Windows and Azure platforms.
• Automate deployment, configuration, and management of infrastructure using scripting languages such as Power Shell, Python, Bash, or Shell.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, Git Hub, Bitbucket, or Nexus.
• Manage and optimize SQL Server databases, including MS SQL, SSRS, and SSIS, ensuring performance and reliability.
• Implement infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform, Ansible, Salt, or Chef.
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and apply fixes to ensure smooth operation of cloud and on-premise environments.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to migrate applications and services into Azure cloud, ensuring best practices and security standards are met.
• Contribute to Dev Ops best practices, continuous improvement, and automation initiatives within the team.
• Document infrastructure setups, configurations, and operational procedures clearly and comprehensively.

• Minimum of 8 years of experience in Dev Ops, Infrastructure, and Windows server administration.
• Strong proficiency in Power Shell scripting and automation.
• Extensive experience with Azure services, including IaaS, and implementing Infrastructure as Code.
• Hands‑on knowledge of configuration management tools such as Terraform, Ansible, Salt, or Chef.
• Experience deploying, managing, and troubleshooting complex applications in cloud environments.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, source control tools like Git Hub, Bitbucket, and build automation.
• Solid understanding of database management, particularly MS SQL Server including SSRS and SSIS.
• Good troubleshooting skills and experience with infrastructure, service monitoring and logging.
• Knowledge of big data technologies or data storage approaches is an asset.

• Experience with QRM implementation.
• Background in cloud migrations and Azure-specific solutions.
• Strong organizational skills with an ownership mindset and the ability to work independently on high‑complexity assignments.
